This is the most expensive wine that has never been sold. The initial price was around $500,000. According to some records this wine was part of Thomas Jefferson collection. This bottle of wine was shattered by accident by a waiter who knocked the bottle. The Insurers paid out around $230,000.

#1 Screaming Eagle Cabernet Sauvignon 1992 – $500,000

This is the diamond of all the most expensive wines. Back in 2000  in Napa valley this wine was presented in auction and got the highest bid with the astonishing price of around $500,000.
